The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is developing a comprehensive stormwater management and flood modeling plan to reduce local flooding risks.
This work includes field surveys, data collection, and conceptual infrastructure recommendations, with completion expected in late 2026.
Their findings will directly inform the engineering design for Crisfield’s phased flood mitigation efforts.
