The Crisfield Housing Facade Program is targeted to legacy

homeowners, where the home has been family owned for multiple generations, or to lower-

income homeowners.  Qualifying improvements to the home include items visible from the

exterior such as porches, roofs, doors, windows, and paint. If you are interested in receiving funding availabilty

Garden Table Setup

Housing Façade Program- $50,000

 

  • Description: Residential façade improvement grants for legacy and lower-income homeowners, supporting visible exterior repairs such as porches, roofs, doors, windows, and exterior paint.

  • Project Size: Approximately 5 homes at $10,000 each

  • Funding Sources: Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) – FY25 State Revitalization Program

  • Status: Awarded; launch anticipated spring 2026

  • Estimated Completion Date: Late 2026
